Just a little news item. (March 24) A part time public school teacher in Oregon has been fired for taking his Bible to his Biology class, and sharing some Scriptures (freedom of speech and free exercise of religion.) He says he was trying to help the students to think. Maybe he didn't know you are not allowed to think outside of the political correctness of the day. I thought the following paragraph was very interesting:
Helphinstine
reportedly
made
references
to
Bible
verses
during
his
lessons.
He
was
also
said
to
have
given
a
Power
Point
presentation
linking
the
theory
of
evolution
with
Nazi
Germany
and
Planned
Parenthood. Regarding Hitler, last night my family watched a DVD entitled "The Jesse Owens Story." It made references, and showed glimpses of skull pictures, verifying the Nazi belief that Black people, Jews, and maybe others were inferior species, not having evolved to superiority as the "Arians." The ties between Darwinism and Hitler are not too hard to verify, so why should this truth be prohibited? The Jewish holocaust of the Nazis, as well as the ongoing holocaust of unborn children could not be justified at all without the false teachings of evolution. If we were created in the image of our Creator, that throws a whole different light on both situations. But even if some believe not the biblical account of Creation, why should we not be allowed to speak the truth about Adolf Hitler's beliefs? In the same news story: Lori Brown of the Secular Coalition of America told Cybercast News Service that public school science teachers should stick to science. Yeah, Right.
Here
again
is
the
secular
implication
that
science
supports
the
theories
(doctrines)
of
evolution.
Actually,
all
evolutionary
theories
are
based
on
thousands
of
assumptions.
None
of
them
have
been
proved
using
the
accepted
"Scientific
Method."
